June 9th was declared by Molly to be Dandelion Day- a day to spend with those you love. To celebrate the day, we will have an ice cream truck at Dandelion Park. Please stop by the Park between 4 and 6 PM to hear more about the Molly Fund, grab our summer schedule of events.. and most importantly have a free ice cream treat on us!

The Final Molly Walk

For 20 years, the Molly Walk has been a Father’s Day tradition in Marshfield. Hundreds of you have shown up year after year -through rain and shine -to celebrate Molly’s life and support the Molly Fitzgerald Memorial Fund. We are beyond grateful.
After much reflection, we have made the bittersweet decision that 2026 will be our final Molly Walk. It has been an emotional journey for the family, and the time has come to close out what has truly been an epic run. We couldn’t be more thankful for the love and support this community has shown us over the years.
And while the Walk is ending, the Molly Fund is not. Our scholarships, Dandelion Park, Molly Movie Mania, the Pumpkin Carving, the Tree Lighting, and our support for the Food Pantry, Boys & Girls Club, Community Christmas, and more – all of it continues. The Molly Fund lives on!
We’d love to make this final Walk a true celebration of 20 years of memories. If you have photos from past Molly Walks or favorite Molly Walk memories, please send them to mollyfund@gmail.com so we can share them at the event.
See you on Father’s Day morning!
The 5K walk/fun run starts and ends at Marshfield High School. Registration begins at 8 AM, walk begins at 9 AM. It is FREE to join us, but any donation $75+ gets a Molly Walk t-shirt!

Bring the family along with a blanket/chair to Dandelion Park and listen to children’s stories read every Tuesday evening at 6 PM throughout the summer,. Kids are welcome to wear their pajamas and enjoy complimentary refreshments. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and/or Instagram to stay up to date on any weather cancellations.

Summer Fridays
Marshfield Town Green | Marshfield, MA
Molly Movie Mania is a free screening of fun family movies on Fridays throughout the summer. Grab a blanket and join us on the Town Green! Popcorn, candy and beverages will be available for purchase. Movies start at Dusk.

Pumpkin Carving at Dandelion Park

Join us at Dandelion Park from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM for a free pumpkin carving event. We supply the pumpkins & refreshments, you just need to bring yourselves! Costumes encouraged.
